Where does the time go? I can't believe Ava is already a 1 month old today, it seems like just yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital. This past month has been the most rewarding and enjoyable time of our lives, challenging at times but always worth it. We were shocked to see just how strong Ava is. At just 1 week she was already lifting her head. Now she lifts it and moves from cheek to cheek. Each day she keeps it up just a little longer then the day before.
She is also becoming more alert with each passing day. Her eyes are turning into a beautiful light blue,,,hopefully just like her daddy's and her facial expressions are priceless. She recognizes her mommy and daddy's voices, she smiles at us and she is becoming quite the talker. Just this past week she learned how to stick out her tongue. I can't wait to see what this next month has in store for us.
