I'm not sure if I'm the only one but Florida reminds me of Jimmy Buffett and thats exactly where we are headed next...Florida and Margaritaville.
In April, we ventured to Destin Florida for a beautiful beach wedding that Chris was in. When Chris was doing his groomsmen stuff, Ava and I had a lot of time to shop the outlets and lay on the beach. One of the beaches we went to was covered with little baby jellyfish. I had never seen any like these before, they didn't have the tentacles just a big jelly mass. When the sun hit them it looked as if the beach was covered in glass. While we were there I was able to see one of my dearest friends who lives in Crestview. She took Ava and I to this amazing beach where for the longest time we were the only occupants. Ava was in love with the feeling of the sand in her hands but she wasn't a big fan of the waves.
Chris and Ava learned something new they could do on this trip...
Before heading to Panama City where we would spend the rest of our vacation, we met Michelle and her family at the Gulf Breeze Zoo. This may be the coolest zoo I have ever been to. We could feed almost every animal. Ava loved feeding the birds until one nibbled on her by accident. The zoo stretched on for miles. We saw giraffes, were serenaded by monkeys, met some kangaroos, and went to ape island. I was the only one lucky enough to see an ape.
So excited she's shaking

Next stop Panama City for a week. We stayed in a hotel just steps away from the beach and our room overlooked the pool. It was great!! For the next week we did more shopping and laying on the beach. It was a great way to relax after a hectic month of moving.
