Today we celebrated Chris' promotion to Major. He had a small informal ceremony at the squadron. After he was sworn in, Ava and I helped him "pin on" his new rank. Ava enjoyed ripping off the old captain bars. She was a little timid at first when she saw all eyes on her but she quickly got over that. We continued the festivities over dinner with some wonderful friends.
Thank you everyone for helping us celebrate Chris' achievement, he definitely deserves it!!!
