Another Family Wedding

This past week we ventured to New York to watch two very special people tie the knot.  The wedding was at a farm out in the county.  The weather was perfect, just warm enough and not a cloud in the sky.  The bride was stunning and the groom handsome as ever.  I have never seen my brother as happy as when he first saw Bre walking towards him.  The love they share is so genuine and so sweet you can't help but to smile whenever you see the two of them together.  They are perfect for each other!!

Jon and Bre live in a quaint little town and their house overlooks Saratoga Lake.  With the help of Jon, Chris found a cottage on the lake for all os us to stay in for the week.  It was a cozy little cottage with 3 bedrooms and 1 very small bathroom.  My favorite place in the house was the sunroom over looking the lake.  The mornings were so peaceful with a cup of coffee and the view of the water, smooth as glass.

We had a great time exploring downtown Saratoga.  Chris and I found a little olive oil company with over 50 different flavors of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.  It reminded us of our trip to Sedona last year.  I asked my dad to take some photos of Ava while we were in town.  We found a beautiful park in the center of town with a carousel and fountains and lots of ducks...perfect for a one year old photo shoot.  We spent about an hour walking around the park taking pictures.  Ava had a great time chasing the ducks around the park.  During the shoot Ava stood up all by her self and my dad caught it on camera.  She has been able to stand for a while now but with assistance.

Since there are so many September birthdays between the two families we had big big celebration for everyone.  Bre was so sweet to get Ava her very own smash cake.  Ava was not timid at all when it came time to smashing.
She dove in face first, literally.
She even shared some with mommy and daddy.
