We carved pumpkins!! And by we, I mostly mean Chris.
Ava was a big helper when it came time to getting all of the "guts" out of the pumpkin but she quickly lost interest in the whole process. I drew the designs on the pumpkins and then handed them over to Chris to carve. Thank goodness for dry erase markers, I think I drew and re-drew each pumpkin at least 20 times before it was acceptable. I did end up carving one of the pumpkins since Chris had to get ready for work.
And did I mention Deana came into town just in time to help also! Ava was super excited to see her again.
I think Ava is happy with the finished product. She carried her mouse pumpkin all over the house and kissed it multiple times. What a sweetheart she is.
Here are our family pumpkins, an owl, a mouse, a spider and a baby!!
