Ava's Early Birthday Party

This year we decided to have Ava's birthday party early since we would be moving the month before and Chris wouldn't yet be with us in Florida.  Ava invited all of her school friends and a few others for a huge waterpark party in our backyard.

She chose My Little Pony as her theme and with all of the toys she already had we didn't need to buy many decorations.

 The kids had a blast playing in the water.  We had a kiddie pool, slip n slide, water balloons and water guns (which we gave as party favors).

After all of the water fun we had some lunch, sang the birthday girl "Happy Birthday" and cut the cake...or pulled apart the cupcakes.  The kids (and the fathers too) loved all of the frosting on top of them.  If you can't tell by their faces.

Ava was so worn out from all of the fun she was having with her friends that she didn't even make it to the end of her own party.  She fell asleep in Austin's arms while I was trying to get some food ready.

We were able to snag a few pictures of Ava and her friends after she woke up from her cat nap.

 After all of her friends left we opened her presents.  She was so excited about all of the new My Little Pony and Little Pet Shop toys she got.  She also loved her clothes from Aunt Jenn and even put on a little fashion show for us.
