Last weekend the kids and I were invited to the Sweet Seasons pumpkin patch with Ava's new friend Faith and her family.
It was a perfect fall like day for pumpkin picking so we hopped in the car and drove from beaches to farms. On the way we drove through a forest that Ava can't wait to go back and explore when Daddy gets home.
The farm had so many fun things for the kids to explore.
We jumped on the Corn Popper Pillow, shot corn out of a Corn Cannon, rode the Cow Train, played Pumpkin Bowling and Redneck Golf, took a Hayride and ventured through the Corn Maze. The kids did a great job answering the questions and getting us through the maze with very few dead ends but it was a little long and we were all very happy to see the maze exit sign.
This year the farm used our minor league baseball team, The Blue Wahoos, as there theme as you twist and turn through eight acres of corn.

After the maze, we explored the pumpkin patch to find the perfect pumpkin. Dean had a little too much fun picking up the "balls" and tossing them back on the ground. Thankfully none broke.
Ava loved the big pumpkins and had to have her picture taken on top of them.
We all loved the cute little chicks in the petting farm. Both kids wanted to take them home.
We had a great time with new friends. Next year we can't wait to show Daddy!!
