A few days after we got back from Tucson, Chris got out all of our Christmas decorations. I wanted to get it done as soon as possible because each day we get closer to meeting baby Dean I lose motivation to do much of anything.
Ava was a big help again this year. It was a little difficult for me to just let her put the ornaments where ever she wanted but she did do a great job...and I didn't go back and fix a single one. I think our tree looks great this year.
This year we introduced one of my favorite holiday traditions to Ava and she loved it. When my nephew was younger I loved getting him involved in making gingerbread houses every year and I am so happy I am able to continue the tradition with my own children.
Ava and daddy had a great time making the house but their favorite part was eating the candy and frosting.
Here is the finished product.
Ava was very proud of her house.
The very next morning her and daddy ate some for breakfast!
