2 Months Old

We took Dean to the doctor last week for his two month wellness check and he is doing great.  Last time we saw the doctor she was a little worried about his weight because he hadn't gained his birth weight back yet but she had nothing to worry about this time.  He is weighing in at 10 pounds, 11 ounces and 24.5 inches long.  We have to start doing some "physical therapy" with him a bit.  He favors the left side of his head and is starting to form a flat spot so to help even it out and gain neck muscle our doctor told us to help him move his head to the right side.

Dean continues to be a very calm and easy going baby.  He loves to look at the ceiling fan while he's in our arms.  He thinks Ava is the greatest and loves when she gives him butterfly kisses.  He is starting to coo at us and it is the sweetest sound.  He has been sleeping great and usually gives us about 8-10 hours between night time feedings.

Ava went with us to the appointment and she really liked helping Dr. Szymanski check Dean's themprature, listen to his heart beat and look in his ears.  But when it was time for his shots Chris took her to get stickers.  Dean did not like getting his shots and cried louder then I've ever heard but was quickly calmed down once I could pick him up again.
