One of Ava and my favorite places to go for an afternoon out is Smallcakes Cupcakery. They have such delicious gourmet cupcakes and the menu changes daily.
Two of our favorite people also love the cupcake shop as much as we do so we've turned it into a regular play date spot. It's really quite perfect, the girls are so excited to eat cupcakes and chase each other around the shop that they actually let Natalie and I have a conversation.
This particular trip the girls were in rare form, hanging off couches and lying on the floor watching Peppa Pig.
After we've sugared them up we usually take them to the park to burn off the rest of that energy.
