Last Day of Preschool

I can't believe Ava's first year of preschool is already over.  It went flew by and she changed so much over the course of the year.  May 12th was Ava's last day of school and her class celebrated by having a water party.  

 

After the water party, parents were invited to come for lunch and a small parent appreciation ceremony.  We were presented with a binder full of Ava's artwork over the year.  It was fun to see how much she had progressed.

Dean was sick so I stayed home with him but Chris was able to go meet Ava for lunch.  Ava was so excited daddy got to be there.

Ava was also the student of the day.  She brought snack, held the flag during the Pledge of Allegiance and helped Mrs. Mary with the weather.

We met some really great friends this year through the school and we are going to miss seeing them next year but will be forever grateful for the friendships we developed.

Ava helped me make each of her teachers a thank you gift for all they did over the year.  Ava picked out the flowers and told me who to give what flower to.
