Animal Kingdom

Wednesday we woke up, got dressed and headed downstairs to catch a bus for Animal Kingdom.  As soon as we got there we ran into Pooh and Tiger again and Ava was over the moon with excitement to see them.
This time there was a little longer of a line to see them and Ava's patience was running very thin.  Once we got to the front of the line and it was our turn, Ava ran right into Pooh's arms and wouldn't let go.  She was so excited to show him Roar Roar (thats the name of her tiger she's carrying) and she kept putting him in Pooh's mouth.  She's such a silly girl.  Next it was time to see Tiger and again she ran right up to him.  Tiger was lucky to get lots of kisses when it was time to leave.
I wasn't sure what to expect when we got to Animal Kingdom but it was pretty cool.  They divided the park up into different countries and within each country are animals you would find there and some rides.
We spent most of our time in Asia where guests find themselves in the village of Anandapur, which means "a place of delight" in Sanskrit.  Chris rode the Expedition Everest ride while Ava and I played "monkey" around a tree.  He said the ride was better then Splash Mountain.  Next we stopped to see some monkeys playing and swinging from their ropes.

As we were walking to Africa we almost ran into this guy...look closely.  He's covered in leaves and walking on stilts.
Ava had a blast playing the drums in Africa and didn't want to leave.  Shortly after we got there we were hungry so we headed to the Rainforest Cafe.
Ava loved all the animals inside the restaurant.  We are pretty sure she thought these were real elephants.  They did look pretty realistic when they were moving.
Chris had never eaten at a Rainforest Cafe so he was also impressed with the atmosphere.
Our food was delicious and Ava was so happy about her "ice cream".  Before we were done with lunch Ava was fast asleep in my arms.  We decided we had seen enough of the park and wanted to check out Epcot before we had to head back to Tampa.
