Balloon Fiesta

 It's Balloon Fiesta time of year and we are joining in on the fun.  This year we went to the special shapes balloon glow. 

Of the 750ish balloons that come to town for the nine day event, only the shaped balloons participate in this night glow.  This year they had a lot of new shapes, including a huge princess.  Once the sun goes down all of the balloons go up, then there's a count down and all of the balloons light up. 

We took a picnic, laid out our blanket and enjoyed the beauty.

Ava and Crimson

 After the balloons, we watched an amazing firework show.  Ava really enjoyed seeing the fireworks.  She would say, "WOW,"  every time they lit up the sky.
