Plymale Visit

This past week we enjoyed the company of Chris' family.  His mom, sister, Aunt Cath, Sue, cousin Laura and her daughter Sahara came to visit for a week during the balloon fiesta.  They rented a house for the week just a few miles from us and explored the Albuquerque sites.
The first night they were in town, the family came over to hang out until Chris got home from work and then went out for dinner.
Ava and Sahara are only two weeks apart and had a great time playing with each other.  It was so fun to see them interact with each other.
Thursday night Chris had to fly so instead of a dinner we took them to one of my favorite Albuquerque breakfast spots, Gold Street Cafe.
The next day Chris' squadron was having a family BBQ on base.  Chris picked up the family and Ava and I met them there after nap time.
It was a perfect day for a barbeque.  The sun was out and the weather stayed warm until it was over.  The squadron rented a bounce house for the kids and everyone contributed something yummy to eat!  Ava and Sahara had such a  fun bouncing in the bounce house and playing on the playground together.
