Spouse Day Flights

This year for Spouse's Day I chose to take a ride in the C-130J, Chris's plane and I was accompanied by these lovely ladies.  It was a beautiful spring day with little wind and lots of sunny skies, perfect for a plane ride.  After our morning briefing we grabbed our gear and set out to the runway.

After take of the crew opened up the back, we strapped on some harnesses and enjoyed the breeze in our faces while we dangled our feet from 30,00 feet up.

Later joined the pilot and CSO (Chris' job) on the flight deck to observe the scenery from their perspective.  It was surprisingly much calmer up there.  While we were up there I hopped in Chris' seat to see what it is he does all day at the office.  I am one proud wife of that man!!

As we landed I was welcome back by the family.  Ava was very excited to get her turn in the pilots seat so her and her pal Eliza set off to check out the planes.
